2022 National Policies & Practices Survey Results Published

ASE recently published the results to its biennial Policies and Practices Survey. Survey results are broken into six major categories and are based on three employer sizes in both the National and Michigan (a subset of the national report) editions. Nearly 100 Michigan employers participated in the 2022 edition, and 189 questions were answered regarding human resource policies and employment practices.

2022 National Business Trends Survey Results Published

In the recently released 2022 National Business Trends Survey from the Employer Associations of America (EAA), business executives indicate a fair amount of caution mixed with optimism for the 2022 outlook. Results show 31% of executives believe the economy will improve, and 41% expect the overall outlook for the 2022 economy to remain the same.

ASE recently published the results to its Pay Administration Survey. Survey results are broken into five categories and are based on three employer sizes and two industry types. ASE recently published the results to its biennial Policies and Benefits Survey. ASE’s 2021 Michigan Compensation Survey Shows Employers Remain Conservative

The impact of the pandemic, and its resulting recession, created many challenges for employers.  While compliance and safety may have taken center stage, employee rewards and wages were also affected by COVID-19.  Data from the most recent ASE compensation survey shows that overall wage growth in Michigan, based on a matched sample of companies (referred to as a constant sample), was just 2.1%.
