Troy, MI – November 1, 2023 --- ASE, one of the nation’s oldest and largest employer associations, has released its 2023 UAW Strike Impact Survey. The pulse survey of Michigan employers assesses the impact of the United Auto Workers (UAW) Strike.
Prior to the UAW’s announcements of tentative labor agreements with Ford, GM, and Stellantis ASE sought to determine the impact to area employers. Below are the highlights of that short pulse survey.

This year’s survey assesses an organization’s policies and practices related to holiday leave and pay practices associated with time worked during recognized holidays.

The survey examines the current work arrangements offered by Michigan employers. Data shows that the most common flexible work arrangement offered is remote work.

Troy, MI – May 1, 2023 – ASE has partnered with Wheelhouse to bring CancerAlly, a cancer benefits program, to ASE member employers. The CancerAlly program partners with a cancer survivor’s HR department to determine a plan that benefits both the employer and employee – resulting in increased retention and productivity during and after cancer treatment.

The short pulse survey examines the current state of remote work for Michigan employers. The data suggests that most employers are mandating a minimum number of days for in-person work or have fully returned to the workplace.
