Kristen Cifolelli joined ASE in September of 2013 and currently serves as Director, Research Services. In this role, Kris is responsible for providing HR-related guidance and research assistance to members, performing personnel policy audits, conducting various HR training classes, coordinating ASE conferences, and writing research articles.
Prior to joining ASE, Kris spent more than 20 years working in Human Resource departments for both medium and large organizations. The last 16 of those years came at Plante Moran, where in her final assignment she headed up the Employee Relations function. She was responsible for leading both the strategic and tactical employee relations and employment law initiatives for the firm. Other key responsibilities included leading Human Resource initiatives related to firm mergers and acquisitions, developing personnel policies, managing immigration issues, developing and implementing employment contracts, and responding to any employment-related litigation matters involving the EEOC and other federal agencies.
