Sponsored by 16 Employer Associations throughout the U.S. with nearly 1,300 organizations participating, this survey provides detailed information regarding how companies will be responding to the changing economy. Topics reported include: Business Outlook, Pay Strategies, Cost Cutting Measures, and many others. Data is reported both nationally and for Michigan.

National Executive Compensation Survey

Sponsored by 13 Employer Associations throughout the U.S. with data from 49 states, 22 of which have a specific breakout category, over 1,700 organizations participate in this annual survey. Data is broken out by sales volume, employment size, industry, region, state, and metropolitan area. Data is reported as Base Pay, Variable Pay, and Total Cash Compensation. Each position reports benefits data for Automobiles, Deferred Compensation, Stock Options, Retirement Plans, Legal/Financial Services, Special Insurance, and Club Memberships.

National Policies and Benefits Survey

Sponsored by 13 Employer Associations throughout the U.S. with over 1,600 companies participating biannually, this survey reports trends in policies and benefits practices. Data is reported nationally and for Michigan. Data is broken out into nine major categories: Health & Welfare Benefits, Retirement Benefits, Miscellaneous Benefits, Pay Practices, Working Conditions, Paid Time Off, Part-Time Employees, Recruitment, Training & Development, and Employee/Community Relations. Data is based on three employer sizes for four employee classifications.

National Wage and Salary Survey

Compiled wage and salary data from over 201,000 employee rates, 41 major metropolitan/regional areas. 21 Employer Associations carefully review job descriptions from local salary surveys and report data for positions that closely match 151 benchmark occupations. Data is reported for a wide range of Production Trades, Supervisory & Professional, and Office, Clerical, & Technical positions.

National Sales Compensation Survey

Sponsored by 11 Employer Associations throughout the U.S. with nearly 850 company participants supplying data for 15 sales positions. Data is reported nationally and for Michigan. Data is broken out by Compensation Type (Salary, Salary plus Commission, or Straight Commission), Business Category, Industry, and Gross Sales Volume. Additional information is reported on Incentive Practices and Expense Allowances for automobiles and travel.
