3rd Annual Talent Symposium is Scheduled for September 28th in Troy

Livonia, Mich. ---August 16, 2017 --- The American Society of Employers (ASE), one of the nation’s oldest and largest employer associations, announces its Talent Symposium will be held on September 28 at the MSU Management Education Center in Troy.  The day-long event, back for its third year, was created in response to ASE member interest in a variety of talent attraction and retention issues.  The Symposium announcement was made by ASE CEO, Mary E. Corrado.

“The war on talent continues to be an ongoing battle for ASE members,” Corrado said. “The ASE Talent Symposium looks at all talent issues, including attraction, development, and retention.  This year’s conference is set to deliver innovative ways to for organizations to attract and align talent and improve the employee experience.  Both our keynote speakers and breakout sessions will offer education and tools that can be utilized right away in the workplace in order to achieve talent-related goals.”

The Talent Symposium will feature a morning and afternoon keynote speaker. The morning speaker is Edgar Papke, Leadership Psychologist, Coach, Author and Public Speaker.  Papke will speak on True Alignment: Linking Company Culture with Customer Needs for Extraordinary Results. The afternoon keynote will be presented by Improv Effects.  Brian Lam and Dan Sytsma, Improve Effects Principals, will present Leadership Language
