Bring Training & Development Courses to MMA Members

MMA and ASE partner to help Michigan manufacturing employers provide employee training to fill workforce skill gaps.

Troy, MI – October 6, 2021 – In an effort to solve the challenges many employers face with workforce development, ASE has partnered with the Michigan Manufacturers Association (MMA) to offer MMA members access to ASE training & development courses.  This new partnership creates access to these important classes aimed at developing and enhancing employee skills.

Held both in-person and virtually, ASE offers over 75 instructor-led courses, including supervisory and leadership courses. Principles and Practices of Supervision I and II equip new leaders with the skills they need to excel. In addition, ASE courses offer many opportunities for employees to develop career enhancement skills such as business writing, communication skills, and conflict resolution.  For HR professionals, classes offered include HR essentials, FMLA, I-9, immigration, and much more.

“ASE is very pleased to collaborate with MMA to help their members meet their training & development needs,” stated ASE President & CEO Mary E. Corrado. “Employee development and leadership training is essential across all industries, and we are happy to provide this training to Michigan manufacturers and their employees. Workforce development is crucial to maintaining Michigan’s economy and helping organizations retain their employees.”

MMA members will save 20% on ASE courses as well as receive one complimentary half-day course with the launch of this new partnership.

“Without question, the number one manufacturing challenge is talent, and our partnership with ASE will support the employee development that is critical for success in a 21st century global economy,” said John J. Walsh, President and CEO of Michigan Manufacturers Association. “We’re thrilled to add ASE’s well-respected and high-quality training courses to our portfolio of talent solutions.”
