ASE Certifications

ASE offers certification programs in seven disciplines critical to success in today’s diverse, global workplace.

  • Receive 10% off the cost of the curriculum by pre-paying for all courses necessary to receive certification.
  • Employees will be awarded a deluxe personalized certificate upon completing the certification program. In addition, a certificate of completion will be given for each course completed.
  • A digital badge from Credly will be earned upon completion of any ASE certification.
  • Most courses are pre-approved for HRCI/SHRM recertification credits.

Certification Badges

ASE is committed to providing you with the tools necessary to achieve your professional goals and we understand that communicating your credentials in an ever-expanding online marketplace can be challenging. That is why we have partnered with Credly to provide you with a digital badge once you complete one of our certification or micro-certification curriculums. Digital badges can be used in email signatures or digital resumes, and on social media sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. This digital image contains verified metadata that describes your qualifications and the process required to earn them.
 

Micro-Certifications

New! ASE has developed smaller, micro-certifications in specialty areas such as compliance, compensation, and talent acquisition. These smaller certifications will consist of 4-6  core courses and do not include electives.  Courses taken for a micro-certification can be used toward one of ASE's larger, full certifications. 

  • Employees have up to one year to complete the courses and will earn a certificate of completion.
  • Receive 10% off the cost of the curriculum by pre-paying for all courses necessary to receive certification.

Compensation Micro-CertificationASE Compensation Micro-Certification

Earners of this micro-certification gain an overview of compensation program development and areas to help avoid risk in their organizations. Courses include Compensation 101, Compensation 102, Job Analysis and Job Description, FLSA Changes and Working with Exempt/ Non-Exempt Classifications, and Wage and Hour Law.

This certification consists of 3.5 core credits (3 half-day courses; 2 full-day course) to complete this curriculum. 

 

Employer Compliance Micro-CertificationEmployer Compliance Micro-Certification

The Employer Compliance Micro-Certification provides HR professionals with a robust overview of employment law basics to help avoid risk in your organization.

Employment compliance may seem overwhelming but is as simple as:

  • Creating and maintaining a respectful work environment,
  • Recognizing, addressing/communicating, and documenting situations with the potential for legal risk, and
  • Administering legally required ADA & FMLA processes when notice of either law is given (ADA & FMLA).

This certification consists of 2.5 core credits (5 half-day courses) to complete this curriculum. 

 

Talent Acquisition Micro-CertificationTalent Acquisition Micro-Certification

Earners of this micro-certification gain an overview of the strategies and processes for identifying, recruiting, and retaining talent in an organization. This includes developing, implementing, and evaluating programs for sourcing, recruiting, hiring, and onboarding talent. Courses include Applicant Tracking Guidelines, Recruiting Fundamentals, Interview Skills, and Onboarding Done Successfully.

This certification consists of 3 core credits (2 full-day courses, 2 half-day courses) to complete this curriculum. 

 

Full Certifications

Each of the four full certification curriculums is flexible, comprising a combination of core and elective courses. This enables your employees to select the topics most helpful for their job requirements. ASE can help you customize your curriculum with the appropriate electives based on the goals of the position and the organization.

HR Generalist CertificationHR Generalist Certification

Our HR Generalist Certification can benefit not only those who are new to the profession but experienced HR professionals as well. Many of the courses offered through the HR certification are pre-approved for HRCI PHR/SPHR or SHRM recertification credits. 

This certification consists of 8 core credits and 8  elective credits – for a total of 16 credits required to complete this curriculum. 

 

Leadership CertificationLeadership Certification

The purpose of the Leadership Certification is to introduce managers and supervisors to the fundamental information and skills needed to succeed in those roles. The core programs provide training in the fundamental leadership competencies of communication, interpersonal relations, motivating employees, and much more. 

This certification consists of 8 core credits and 8  elective credits – for a total of 16 credits required to complete this curriculum. 

 

Administrative Assistant CertificationAdministrative Assistant Certification

The Administrative Assistant Certification enables administrative professionals to become more skilled at handling and prioritizing multiple projects, managing time, and increasing their effectiveness as communicators. 

This certification consists of 4 core credits and 6 elective credits – for a total of 10 credits required to complete this curriculum.  

 

Customer Service CertificationCustomer Service Certification

The Customer Service Certification will help your employees build effective customer relationships based on solid service principles, allowing them to satisfy the needs of both their internal and external customers. 

This certification consists of 4 core credits and 6 elective credits – for a total of 10 credits required to complete this curriculum.
