The American Society of Employers (ASE) is a not-for-profit employer association serving Michigan’s Human Resource business community. We provide programs and services that enable member organizations to address their most challenging human resource issues. Since 1902, member organizations have relied on ASE to be their single, cost-effective source for information and support on all matters affecting the employer-employee relationship. ASE is an affiliate of the Employer Associations of America.

For over 100 years, the Society's principal function has been to provide people-management information and services.  The purpose of these services is to help organizations grow their bottom lines by growing the effectiveness of their people.
 
Our primary customer is every person who makes people-related decisions within an organization. This means we directly support everyone from Presidents to Human Resource Generalists. Our programs and services are designed to make us your organization's one-stop shop for human resource information and services.
 
ASE's mission is to be the preeminent authority on human resource management issues in the state of Michigan.  To achieve our mission, we have committed ourselves to continually upgrading the knowledge and skills of our own people.  We are a growing organization of energetic professionals ready to meet any employer's needs.
