Learning and Advancement

Recent labor surveys have shown that higher performance and lower turnover rates result directly from companies investing in more training hours per employee.

To help your employees optimize their job performance, ASE offers a variety of training and education services. ASE-affiliated professional trainers, highly qualified in their respective fields, conduct workshops and seminars in a variety of areas that are critical to effectively managing today's highly competitive and diverse workforce.

ASE offers more than 100 individual open-registration courses, with four certification curriculums, in its Southfield, Saginaw, Cadillac, and Battle Creek training locations. Your employees can register for these courses, and seats are available on a first-come/first-serve basis; or, our trainers can design customized programs to meet your organization's specific training needs on a contract basis. Contract training programs are cost-effective, flexible and convenient. Since they can incorporate your company's policies, procedures, and organizational culture, they can more directly and immediately impact employee performance and, thus, your bottom line.

Training offerings cover these and other subject categories:

Employment Law
Compensation and Benefits
Labor Relations
 Human Resource Policy and Procedures
Management Development
 General Development

The American Society of Employers is accredited through the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) and offers continuing education units, which can often be applied toward college credit.
