ASE is excited and privileged to bring Lt. Gen.  Russel L. Honoré, U.S. Army (retired) to our 2012 annual conference to deliver our morning keynote address. The general’s topic will be “The New Normal: Leadership Preparedness in the 21st century.” Gen. Honoré will speak from the heart about his leadership experiences in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, and  elsewhere, and he will inspire you to embrace the leader inside you.

Wall Street Journal columnist Jeffrey Zaslow’s books are about what happens to people when life takes an unexpected turn. The results are surprising, funny and often moving. Mr. Zaslow has collaborated with some of the most inspiring people of our time, including Professor Randy Pausch (The Last Lecture) and U.S. Airways pilot Capt. Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger (Highest Duty). He is currently working on a book with Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and her husband, astronaut Mark Kelly.

As an added bonus, attendees will receive a copy of The Last Lecture, and after his talk Mr. Zaslow will make himself available to sign copies of the book for those who want a memento of the occasion.

People Profit Progress Conference

People, Profit, Progress 2012 Conference

Economic upheaval at home and abroad...increasingly fractious government in Washington and Lansing... natural disasters with ripple effects that impact everyone...uncertainty is the only thing about the future that is certain. For business people, it all means that being prepared is not just a cliché but a true imperative. The future belongs to leaders who build resilient, nimble teams that thrive during uncertain times.

ASE brings its much anticipated Human Resources Conference for area HR professionals to learn, engage and rejuvenate themselves for challenges to come. With two keynotes, exciting breakout sessions, more vendors to visit and recertification credits, this is a value-added event that must make your calendar.
