Michigan's HR Executive of the Year

Having expanded our reach throughout the State of Michigan, ASE realized that as the premiere organization of its type in the state, we were in a position to identify the best in the human resources profession. Once identified, we could then give them the credit they were due by honoring them at an event attended by their colleagues and peers.

Each year, ASE will honor those special individuals who have dedicated their working lives and efforts to become outstanding human resource executives in their organizations, industries, and state.

Each year in May, ASE will put out a call for nominations. Nominations will be accepted through July.

A selection committee consisting of ASE board members, past award recipients, and HR Executives - men and women who know the HR profession and the demands and expectations placed on an HR Executive today - will consider each nomination and select the award winners. Each nomination will be evaluated based on the nominee's commitment to the HR profession, successes in his or her past as well as current positions, contributions to community, impact on the lives of others, and the success of his or her organization.

ASE formally recognizes the award recipients each year at its Annual Summit, held in October.
